ABOUT ME

I was born and raised right here in Kingston, completed a B.A. and served in the Army for 13 years. I have worked on bases from coast to coast, and I spent several years in each of Kingston, Edmonton and Gagetown (NB). I have been married since 2002 and my husband Kevin is still serving in the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry.

Community involvement is important to me, both locally and globally. I volunteer with the Sunshine Foundation (sunshine.ca), helping make dreams come true for kids with severe disabilities and life-threatening illnesses. My husband and I are also actively involved with a humanitarian aid organization, Hungry For Life International, and we travel abroad in support of projects worldwide.

I began investing in real estate in 2006 and enjoyed every aspect of it, from purchasing and developing to managing and  periodically selling.  I love the challenge, and how there’s something new and different about every deal.  With my own interest in real estate and the fulfillment I derive from helping others, becoming a real estate agent was a perfect fit following my military career.

MY TAKE ON REAL ESTATE

Over the course of several military relocations and iterations of buying, developing, managing and selling investment properties, I built the profile of what I considered to be the ideal real estate agent. It’s a concept I work hard to live up to, and continue to redefine as I work with clients and other professionals in the realm of real estate.

Anyone can send you lists of houses for sale and drive you around to find something you like, or plug the details of your home into the MLS® System. What I offer, however, is the focus to ensure you don’t pay too much that perfect home, to uncover issues that might otherwise be missed, to help you sell at the best price for your home, and to guide you through the intricacies of the negotiation process.

With me, you have a real estate agent who keeps in close communication and has the knowledge and confidence to give you straight answers and strong advice. I am meticulous when I deal with my own real estate investments because I love the whole process from research to negotiations to building equity. Rely on me to be your sober second thought, your staunch advocate, your trusted advisor, and your second wind when the going gets tough.  In short, I’m the real estate agent you’ve been looking for!
